Stuff dx10 for Windows XP.. I should mention in dxdiag it says DX10 installed. Games wont do anything with it as far as I can tell. I guess my DX9 card just wont do it because when I use the Crysis mod the game automatically reverts to the last settings. I think I will try again when my GT gets in should be today. There nothing is to be done! Under DX10 it should run faster, but this does not tune it because I under Vista has tried, but under XP it runs much faster!

As a word of caution some people said games did not work and some said they were able toplay the games but not dx10 games so use it with caution. Several Files ddraw. This will not work, DX10 needs Vista to run. So all you need to do, is remove the files you installed d3d I am going to try the installer but if it doesnt work and screws with my games, how would i uninstall???
XP is solid, fixed, beautiful. XP works. And also corrects errors with the launch of games requiring files with DirectX 9. Download it from out download link and give it a try.
So i dunno. Same problem as Rad15 and some other guy, gives me an error with D3D10ReflectShader, tried 4 different dlls from org. Still no go. Bleh, was rly hoping for this! Its all money people. The real visual difference between DX9 and DX10 is totally questionable, yet the performance hit is huge. DX10 only games you say?? Hell no! A simple editing of an. I am using the russian install file and it works perfect. The 2 pathetic attempts by microsoft were Halo 2 and Shadowrun, both of which run flawlessly on XP with minor modification.
Upon closer look, it was found out, that both of these games actually run on Dx9 programming. Thank God for Intelligent Hackers who have brough this into the light. Somebody should really sue Microsoft for these practices of Bribery and corporate corruption. I guess nobody is brave or dumb? They are hardly noticable. Yet, they do strike a very noticeable performance hit in games, due to Vista sucking in much more resourses then XP.
All we have seen and experienced with Vista are lower performances, hardware and software incompatibility and overall inestability. Something that is more resource efficient, more stable, and offers significant advantages over older OSes. What pisses me off is that instead of doing this, they try to Force users into changing by willingly disabling features in games and software, so that they will not function anymore in XP.
When I buy a product like XP I expect to be always able to use it. Microsoft is involved in some disgusting business practices that betrays their XP customers. We should all protest! Make websites exposing the fact.
